The Poplar Park One-Day Event is run almost entirely by volunteers. Any surplus from entry fees etc is donated to local charities. For this reason, we are heavily dependent on the good will and support of national and local businesses who sponsor us in return for being associated with this premier local event and who advertise their business in a variety of ways.
